About the Composition
This was my first ever composition written over just a few nights to celebrate the canonisation of Australia's first saint. The lyrics journey through the life and struggles of Mary Mackillop to her sainthood and legacy throughout Australia and the world. In my mind I heard little children sing this song, but it's suitable for all, particularly on Saint Mackillop's feast day 8 August. I hope you enjoy it - Sue
